A Mother’s Care

Posted by Tisha Peterson on

Hello, I’m Tisha with Enchanted 3 Boutique. As I was getting ready for our newest  #selfcaresunday deal, it struck me that mother’s often seem to sacrifice their self-care to care for everyone else.

I can’t count all of the times that my mom went without something she wanted or needed because my sisters and I or my dad wanted something. I remember hearing my dad asking my mom why she just didn’t buy a pair of jeans, or shoes, or something else. Her answer was always the same. The kids needed jeans or shoes more.

It wasn’t until I was a mother that I understood her sentiments. I find myself making those same sacrifices. It seems to me that mothers have an ingrained ability to overlook themselves and take care of everyone else.

I would do anything to make sure my family has everything they need. How many of you would do the same? My guess is all of you. What wouldn’t we do for our children, right? But how can we take care of everyone else, if we don’t take care of ourselves? The answer is we can’t.

We aren’t suggesting that we can change your instinct to put your family first, but we can help you take a min, an hour, a day to take care of yourselves. Enchanted 3 Boutique would like to help you with that.

The women of Enchanted 3 Boutique are all mothers. We understand the sacrifices that you make for your family every day, and we want to take care of you.
