Let’s chat about families. Do family values matter anymore? I am not a typically traditional person. My family did not start out in the most traditional way with marriage coming first, but there are some traditions that I do value. Families come in all shapes & sizes, some happen buy chance naturally, some take time to build with hope & love, and some are made by choice. One is not better than the other, but they all take work to keep them together. Do families break down because someone just decides to stop putting in the work or have values really changed so much that exchanging your family for another life is acceptable?
Do you have someone in your life that drives you crazy but you can’t live without them? I do, and today I want to give a huge shoutout to my husband, Mike. Lord knows we’ve had our struggles but I couldn’t go through this life without him.
Growing up I always knew that my dad loved me, that he was invincible, & he was the coolest dad I knew. That has not changed in 38 years. Happy Father’s Day to the best man I know!
Memorial Day weekend we remember all of the brave men and women that served in our military. We thank you, and your families, for your honor, bravery, sacrifice, and service.
Some of you may already know, but most of you do not, that my dad had to have a double bypass during open heart surgery last week. I want to share with you, my family's experience and talk about the importance of knowing your body and selfcare. I hope my dad's story helps some of you.
